The late Haj Hassan Bolandian was born in 1306 in the holy city of Qom and from the age of 12 he worked and learned dyeing techniques with his uncle Haj Hossein Morshed. In a short time he managed to do this and learned the traditional dyeing techniques of wool and silk and became a master craftsman. At the age of 20, he independently established a dyeing workshop located in the old bazaar and became active. They turned to dye, which was plant and traditional at that time.

The late Haj Hassan Bolandian trained students with himself, some of whom are currently engaged in traditional and vegetable dyeing. In addition, his own workshop is located in the same old bazaar of Qom, which is run by his son Haj Reza Bolandian.
