While preserving the general geometric and an aesthetics of the Iranian carpet, Qali-e-Noor has taken on a modern view on the eslimi and arabesque symbols and motifs of the middle eastern pendant lamp. This rug has a conscious and aesthetic approach, by using the chandelier which for many years has been embedded in the Iranian culture and replaced the pendant lamp.
