Mohammad Mehdi Safdarzadeh Haghighi, born in 1972, is the third generation of the Isfahan handwoven carpet producer family. Haghighi rug was founded by Haj Mehdi Khan Qalibaf in 1910. In 1997, an order was given by the Chinese government to weave a rug with the theme of the Silk Road.
