Soheil Bigdeli rug selected by the 6th Best Rug Festival
The 6th Best Rug Festival was organized in 2015 at the place of Tehran International Exhibition with the aim of setting a pattern and supporting the production of quality rugs and creating a suitable platform for the identification and introduction of these products by the National Carpet Center of Iran.

This period of the festival was held in two general groups of contemporary rugs (rugs under 40 years old) and old rugs group (rugs over 40 years old). In classical urban rugs woven above 77 knots in ten centimeters, Mr. Akbar Mahdei was honored with the award of the best rug, the statue of thanks and a gold coin was given to Mr. Soheil Bigdeli. Mr. Soheil Begdeli's chosen rug is named Zarih, with 75 knots per ten centimeters and also with a length of 308 and a width of 198.

The ceremony of awarding the plaque of thanks and the statue of the festival to the winners of this period was held in the presence of the head of the National Carpet Center, members of the jury and a group of masters and elders of handwoven rugs on 4 September 2015.
