Getting good raw materials from impurities and common scams is one of the most important things that play a role in providing different products and their quality. Silk is one of the primary materials for rug tissue and should be identified and prepared for its natural and good type. Therefore, the identification of natural silk from its synthetics is inevitable for the texture of the good rug, and whoever is a producer of this commodity must recognize natural silk and be careful about its provision. Natural silk identification is carried out in two ways: A: physical identification that occurs according to the following:1- It burns easily on flames and is in terms of fuel capability like wool. If it closes the flame, it goes away from it and accumulates itself.3 – inside the flame slowly burns and melts a little while.4- After the fire goes away, it also burns gently, and in Aaliph, the smell is burning, artificial silk, when the smell of rubber or smoke is extinguished, the black silk, and the dark, and the silky image is easily stretched. (b) Chemical identification: Natural silk fibers are completely solved in the fat-burning solution, so it is used to diagnose natural silk by placing fibers in the solution of 5% net profit and boiling. Cold and thick chloride acid and sulfuric acid also solve natural silk fibers.
