Iran’s global rug market and its expansion

The major importers of Iranian carpets are European countries, and the U.S. markets have been around 50 years in the Jerga consumers of this artistic commodity. After World War II, with the efforts of Iranian merchants in German markets, they are ranked in the heads of carpets from Iran, and the current statistics show that over the past thirty years the country is the highest number of Iranian carpets, which is the total export of goods to the European market. Japan and other East Asian countries, given the culture and traditions of its people, including their interest in art and crafts, and the habit of sitting on land that worsens the need for people, can be the best customers of Iranian rugs. In order to expand Iran’s rug consumption in global markets and develop the country’s rug exports among existing hardheaded competitors, and given that some countries, including China, Pakistan, and even European territories, have taken useful steps to promote their small and qualitative rugs, the most effective action is to maintain the right name of this hand-made through full monitoring of consumer materials in production and texture, in particular, the development of the world-class materials.
