First part of the meeting
At first, Mr. Mohammad Reza Rashtizadeh, the head of the Qom rug Employers Association, spoke about the collective website for the association members and suggested that in order to upload information and register it on the site, as well as buy and sell, it is better to do this collectively because the association increases consumer confidence in buying and selling handwoven rug by showing unity between manufacturers and sellers. He mentioned that since the Iran-Khore Complex has provided all the infrastructure to introduce the art of persian rug and its artists, it is better for the association to use this infrastructure
Mr. Hadi Pourjahan, a producer and instructor in the field of handwoven rug, agreed with a website dedicated to the association and continued that having a virtual website could be very effective compared to in-person exhibitions. He also added that the market needs an overlap and support and it would be better to form a fund to support the producers
Mr. Ali Ahmadi, the head of the Qom rug Department, stated that one point that needs to be examined is the reasons why handwoven rug activists do not use the infrastructure of Iran Guereh that is currently ready to be presented, and this is a question that needs to be examined and addressed
