The Adolescent period of Master Mohammad Reza Rashtizadseh

Master Mohammad Reza Tajerrashti was born in 1340 in one of the winter days in the city of Qom. He is the only son of the deceased Master Ali Rashtizadeh, the founder of hand-woven silk carpets in Qom. From his teenage years, under his father's supervision, he learned rug production and trade with great perseverance and interest. His father sent him to France to continue his education at the age of 13. But after 33 years of living in Paris, he returned to Iran at his father's request to start a new chapter of life and work with his parents.

After the death of Master Ali Tajerrashti

Mohammad Reza took over the management of Rashtizadeh rug collection and with his special talent and creativity, he stepped in the direction of designing, supervising the rug texture and supplying raw materials, and using technology, while maintaining the traditional way of working, both technically and artistically, He modernized and in other words, he expanded the precious heritage of his father. When he started designing rugs for the first time, it was as if he had found a new language to express his art. Master Mohammad Reza rashtizadeh pursues his own special style in design and color, but at the same time, he also reproduces the old motifs of his father's works. Establishment of Rashtizadeh Foundation

Master Mohammad Reza Rashtizadeh, who constantly considers himself the inheritor and the keeper of his artist father, founded the Rashtizadeh Foundation in 2013 in order to show the true status of persian art and artists and to keep his father's memory and character alive. One of the most important activities carried out by this So far, the foundation is the holding of 6 sessions of the Golden Knot Award Conference of Master Rashtizadeh on 7th of December every year from 1993 to 1998 and the holding of 4 sessions of Rashtizadeh Rug Design Competition from 2015 to 2018. Formation of Teemcheh group by master Mohammad Reza Tajerrashti

Teemcheh group; It was formed in May of 2013 with the presence of a group of top artists producing Qom handwoven carpets. The main goal of this group is to introduce exquisite and authentic persian silk rugs, as a mixture of persian culture, art, creativity, civilization and identity. The Teemcheh group was founded by Mohammad Reza Rashtizadeh, the son of Master Ali Rashtizadeh, with the collective support of the veterans of handwoven carpet production, and has the support of a number of important rug trade unions.In the long-term goals of this group, confirming the authenticity and providing a valid certificate for each rug, branding and introducing the hand-woven rug art-industry, and using the virtual space platform to display and supply authentic persian rugs have been emphasized. Also, Teemcheh's organizational mission is to expand and develop authentic persian culture through the presentation of hand-woven fabrics with confirmed authenticity and the continued presence of the hand-woven carpet cluster in global markets.
